Immodesty has starred across the world in historic theatres such as Royal Opera
House London, State Theatre Sydney, and Orpheum Theatre Los Angeles, for a wide and
prestigious clientele including Dior, Cartier, Sony Pictures, Ascot, Damien
Hirst, Depeche Mode and Deutsche Bank, and alongside artistes such as

Unanimously credited with spearheading the burlesque renaissance in Europe over the last decade with her stunning shows, Immodesty is recognised as a trailblazer. In 2002 she was already performing in pop promos and live shows with Goldfrapp. By 2005 she was the first burlesque star to bring the genre back to the s.o.l.t. West End stage, headlining a 5 month running production, and continuing with her own brand of ‘Tease Shows’ (and sell out crowds) since then.
Immodesty became the first European artiste to be crowned “Reigning Queen of Burlesque” in 2007 at Las Vegas’ Burlesque Hall of Fame, and she broke artistic boundaries as EMI Music’s first ever non-music signing. Immodesty’s documentary ‘Burlesque Undressed' was the first burlesque cinematic documentary, screening in cinemas worldwide, in over 30 countries in 2010. She has brought burlesque into mainstream TV for many years, not just as a chatshow guest and a pundit but with live performances on primetime shows such as Paul O’Grady Show and Dancing With the Stars.
Immodesty also addresses live audiences, with Oxford University, Hay Literary Festival and National Film Theatre in her past roster. Immodesty has also choreographed and mentored for various productions, with clients such as Kevin Spacey at the Old Vic, BBC, and Monte Carlo Casino.
Immodesty has now followed in the footsteps of Gypsy Rose Lee, becoming an acclaimed published novelist. She is currently writing her third, after the success of her first two novels ‘Tease’ and ‘Ambition’.
