Immodesty Blaize is an international showgirl
superstar.
Her breathtaking performances are in demand the world over, and she has dazzled audiences across London, New York,
Hollywood, Cannes, Vegas and back, for a prestigious client list which includes Cartier, Dior, Ascot Racecourse, Gordon Ramsay and Damien
Hirst.
Crowned the ‘Reigning Queen of Burlesque’ at Las Vegas’ Burlesque Hall of Fame in 2007, Immodesty is renowned for her
extravagant original signature act with her eight foot Swarovski encrusted rocking horse. Her other trademark showpieces include her enormous glitter
vintage telephone, her crystal covered bubble bath, her giant gilded letter ‘B’ and not forgetting her exquisite array of divine costume. Immodesty
often performs with her own ‘Blaize Big Band’, and complement of West End chorus line girls.

Gardner-esque looks and a legendary hourglass figure, Immodesty has secured a position as a unique style and performance icon. She has enjoyed cover
girl status, gracing the pages of magazines, books and newspapers internationally.
A beauty with a sharp wit she is a a familiar and sought-after
personality on television and radio. She also became the first showgirl to be invited to debate at "the world's most prestigious debating society" the Oxford Union, alongside Lord McNally, and US Congressman Bob Barr.
Heralded as the undisputed queen of British burlesque (THE TIMES), Immodesty Blaize made history
in 2004 as the first performer in 30 years to bring the art form back to London’s celebrated historical landmark, The Windmill Theatre. The following
year she headlined the first ever theatrical West End burlesque show which ran for 5 months and saw 30,000 people flocking through the doors, and 2007 again saw Immodesty
leading the vanguard when she headlined the London Jazz Festival with Barry Adamson and Nick Cave at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. That same year she became the first ever showgirl to be given an exclusive headlining residency at the eminent Ascot Racecourse.
2008 has seen Immodesty bringing back her critically acclaimed, sensational sell-out extravaganza ‘The Immodest Tease Show’ alongside her compere, the inimitable Julian Clary.
It has just been announced that her debut novel 'TEASE The Secrets of a Showgirl' is to be released by Ebury Press in summer 2009, with her second novel to follow in 2010.
