IMMODESTY OPENS 'UNDER COVER - THE EVOLUTION OF UNDERWEAR'
Immodesty opens the Evolution of Underwear season alongside Zandra Rhodes at the Fashion and Textile Museum, London. The exhibition presents a visual demonstration of how female underwear has evolved as women’s role in society changed. It encompasses the changing trends from the ‘flatten it’ to the ‘push it up’ to the ‘let it all hang out’! ‘Undercover’ contains some exquisite pieces from a wide range of private and public collections that read like the Who’s Who of underwear; Triumph, La Perla, Christian Dior, Elle Macpherson, Myla and Wonderbra – to name just a few.

Immodesty has outsold Archbishop Desmond Tutu at the Hay Festival! She will give an exclusive performance on the Guardian Stage, followed by a discussion on her debut novel alongside Stephanie Theobald, author of contemporary gothic novel 'A Partial Indulgence'.

MYLA CAUSES SENSATION ON OXFORD STREET
Myla, the British luxury lingerie brand caused a sensation on Oxford Street this morning with the appearance of top burlesque artist Immodesty Blaize in their Selfridges Christmas window.
A crowd of excited shoppers gathered outside the window to see the voluptuous burlesque dancer strike a series of provocative poses in Myla’s golden Christmas corset.
The corset, one of a collection of three exclusive to Selfridges, offers British women the perfect opportunity to achieve the ever desirable hour-glass figure.
The launch of the exclusive corset coincides with a reported 70 per cent increase in sales of luxury fashion corsets at Selfridges in the run up to Christmas.
Helen Attwood, Selfridges Head for Lingerie said: “The trend for underwear worn as outerwear is more popular than ever with customers investing more in fashion that adds a touch of spice to everyday life”
